Now let me see if I have this right...Bucks,I like the name, collects eight-track tapes but, doesn't own a "working" eight-track player? That should probably be the next thing he collects. Good luck Bucks!

I just bought a 8-track tape today........for $.25 plus a 25% store discount which came out to a whopping 19 cents! It is a blank BASF "Studio Series" tape with "polished tape" whatever that means. I plan on recording the first Partridge Family LP onto it. I am not kidding.

Hmmm,
I have an 8-track player in the garage somewhere that was in my boat. I also have an 8-track recorder/playback deck which still worked the last time I used it. It is on the shelf in my "office". Still have a few blanks and some recorded ones. Also about 3 head cleaning cassettes, still unopened.

My brother, Rich, had tons of 8-tracks. I was so jealous at the time. But in my parents' final years, what was left was collecting dust in the garage!
