What a shot Gino! The Raiders are in position and ready to start playing in their segment on the hit show Batman. Standing in the wings is Burgess Meredith who played "The Penguin" and the man who discovered The Raiders & managed their entire career Roger Hart. There is a big slice of Stumptown in this photo as Roger was a Kisn DJ and had his roots here, The Raiders made their mark in our town and became wildly famous...and Burgess Meredith later owned a home on the Oregon Coast. Aside from all of the above, Gino Rossi's photo is one Mr Stumps favorites.
Great shot indeed. And the show segment was hilarious.

Roger Hart still lives in the Portland area. Met him last year and was very gracious. Had some great Raiders stories!

This is SO cool. The still and the actual video clip. I love the Stumptown Blog. It is also great that you don't junk this up with ads. Gino Rossi ROCKS.

Hmmmmm... I was a HUGE Raiders fan, I never missed an episode of "Batman" (or "Where the Action Is"), and if it wasn't for Roger, I never would have known about KISN. Maybe we are related? Any Iowa roots?

Cool, I didn't know Burgess Meredith owned a home on the Oregon Coast; was it in Newport, Lincoln City, Astoria, Seaside or somewhere else?
