Three friends told me about this new gourmet sandwich cart on Northwest 23rd & Kearney. Today I tried the Hot Hood which is made with tender loving care consisting of Challah bread, black berry jam, jalapeno, apple wood smoked bacon and PBJ's secret peanut butter. Holy Elvis loves a peanut butter & jelly sandwich Batman....This is without a doubt Stumptowns best sandwich in the city. Could it be better than Grandmas Peanut butter & jelly ? YES!!!! Shane Chapman and Keena Tallman have such a wonderful product and a fun idea it could be franchised. I cut up samples of the second half of the sandwich for co-workers to try (maybe I was just really hungry and over-reacting about this sandwich)....They were in Peanut Butter heaven! 5 STARS rated for PBJ's Grilled Gourmet Peanut Butter Creations located at 23rd & Kearney. Hours are 10am-6pm Tuesday through Sunday. They can also bring their creations to your next party. Kids will love this, and for adults it will make us feel like kids again! Love It Love it Love it.
Their menu is dynamite. Can't wait to try "The Wildflower"
You can reach them by phone at 702-743-0435
I saw them on the street just after I left getting a present for my grandson. They were very friendly, but it looked like the usual chazari to me. Now,I have a trusted review.

If you haven't been to Phil's Meat Market in the Uptown Shopping Center, you're missing a great deli with made-to- order sandwiches and home made soups. Everything fresh and no processed foods. Prices are right too. Plus a very extensive wine selection.

I'M ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW PLACES TO TRY WITH MY DAUGHTER, AND SHE LOVES THE PEARL. I ALSO VALUE DAVE'S OPINION VERY HIGHLY, BUT I THINK I'LL WAIT UNTILL OUR VERY OWN STUMPTOWN BLOGGER'S, HIGHLY ACCLAIMED FOOD CRITIQUE, THE VERY PALATABLE, CHUCKIE RABINOWITZ HAS A CHANCE TO VISIT THESE PLACES AND RENDERS US HIS USUAL, NO NONSENSE, FIVE STAR OPINION!

Yeah Joe, I too am curious as to whether or not these sandwiches "stink like butt" or not.

Next time I'm doing a stretch at Good Sam I'll have to amble up 23rd and give this place a try.
Gotta admit though I'm not much for PB&J. Suppose they have anything else...like a nice Philly Cheesesteak?
